Master Collision Group History

Master Collision was formed in 1998 by the merger of two of the Twin Cities' largest body shops, Rogers Body Shops in Plymouth & Bloomington and Paramount Collision located in Uptown Minneapolis. Both of these outstanding auto body companies have each been in existence in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area for over 30 years.

Rogers Body Shop started in Minneapolis on Lyndale Avenue in Minneapolis and then relocated to Bloomington - where they are located today on the Southeast side of Hwy 35W and Hwy 494. What made Roger's Body Shop special is that they were the first body shop to repair uni-body vehicles.

As the first to repair uni-body cars, they prided themselves on quality and have grown as a Preferred Repair Center for Toyota, BMW and Acura. Master Collision proudly repairs all vehicles to their exacting standards. In 1996, they opened their Plymouth facility on the corners of Hwy 55 & Hwy 694. Plymouth's body shop was the first in state of Minnesota to be environmentally friendly. We are proud to be the first "green" collision center in Minneapolis-St. Paul.

Paramount Collision started decades ago in their current location on Lake Street in Minneapolis. Their focus was securing relationships with key insurance companies through getting the customer back in their car as soon as possible with the highest quality standards. Parmount Collision was the first to be approved by most major insurance companies as a direct repair facility in the Minneapolis-St. Paul market.

We knew we were doing something right when the CEO of Sherwin Williams came to visit and documented our processes as the standard to follow. For this hard work we were recognized by our peers and awarded the Body Shop of the Year by in 1999.
